EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW WITH AUTHOR DANIELLE SPENCER

What inspired "Digital Assassins," and how does it expose the misuse of power and private data?

“Digital Assassins” was inspired by actual events that happened to me after becoming a whistleblower. Using fictional characters, I tell the story of what I believe was the misuse of government resources by government leaders against me. It provides details of how the abuses occurred and what data was used.

As a U.S. Federal Government whistleblower, what challenges did you face, and how do your experiences contribute to transparency and accountability discussions?

I faced challenges such as privacy violations, dissemination of fraudulent information and tax administration issues. Shedding a light on these events using my book, senior government leaders are becoming aware of these abuses. Once public, the bad actors will need to answer for their actions.

What core message do you aim for readers to grasp regarding the misuse of taxpayer resources against citizens in your book?
