The Lakhani sisters, Maheen Lakhani and Sanober Lakhani took the thesis collection of the Asian Institute of Fashion Design's students to an international platform and made history.
The Asian Institute of Fashion Design (AIFD) showcased its latest collection during Paris Fashion Week at the iconic Hotel d'Evreux, 19 Place Vendôme, 75001 Paris on March 5th, 2023. The event was a culmination of the hard work and dedication of the AIFD team, led by CEO and Co-Founder Maheen Lakhani Ahmar, who brought their unique blend of creativity and innovation to the world stage.
The show featured the latest designs from AIFD's talented students, who drew inspiration from the rich cultural heritage of Asia and blended it with contemporary fashion trends followed by their fashion film.
The pioneering 'Enchanted Odyssey' is a first-of-its-kind fashion film produced by an academic institution. It initiates a new wave of experimentation and collaborative work. It is ostensibly a novelty for the local industry and is a visual showcase of how fashion talent currently thinks, visualizes, and creates.
The breathtaking display of colors, textures, and styles captivated the audience and showcased the immense talent of AIFD's designers.
